Commentary -- Reunion - Chapter 2, Part 2

This segment continues from the end of the previous scene.  My goal with this scene was primarily to give Tenchi and Ayeka another chance to speak candidly and openly about their feelings.  I drew heavily from their conversation in Universe episode 23.

I also took the liberty to speculate about Ayeka's situation before the beginning of Tenchi Universe, expanding the previous story.  In episode 2, she is introduced as the crown princess traversing the galaxy to be married, and later the throne of Jurai is revealed to be vacant in episode 15, pending her marriage.  Reading between the lines, her parents cannot be in the picture, and I expect with Kagato's ambitions, her father had likely passed recently.

I hope to develop this concept further as this story progresses.
