Curious about the dimensional travel of other races, two professors open an antique puzzle box and summon explorers of extreme sensation.

This is a shortened version of a piece I wrote for the site HolyToaster in early 2010.  Originally, the story was meant as a faux research article, written in-universe from the perspectives of Prof. Memes and Nerti Ro Pii.  In retrospect, I see it more as a little side-story about Nerti's academic life, as well as a piece of my Hellraiser fandom.  As such, I have placed it here where it might receive more attention. ^^v  If you are interested in the original, please see the link here.
